I've another 25 years in the workforce so I've also thought about doing an online Grad Dip in Teaching to become a Math or Science teacher. I've also more or less completely given up on the whole academic career thing. For a long time I thought wouldn't it be nice to sit in a uni office all day and teach a few hours a week. In recent times I've looked over the publications list of people in Uni's in my field.
